Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.07 per cent at 82,102 and the Nifty-50 down 0.13 per cent at 25,170. About 1,802 shares have advanced, 2,352 shares have declined and 157 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.29 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.35 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were AU Small Finance Bank Ltd, Ashok Leyland Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd and Thermax Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Refex Industries Ltd, Automotive Stampings & Assemblies Ltd, Tata Investment Corporation Ltd and Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Metals Index and BSE Bankex Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 23, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 464 lakh crore or USD 5.23 trillion. On the same day, 173 stocks hit a 52-week high while 66 stocks touched a 52-week low.
