Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Zuari Industries Ltd, Munjal Auto Industries Ltd, Paradeep Phosphates Ltd and Goodluck India Ltd.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.47 per cent at 81,716 and the Nifty-50 down 0.45 per cent at 25,057. About 1,599 shares have advanced, 2,568 shares have declined and 153 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.85 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.50 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Premier Energies Ltd, Kaynes Technology India Ltd, Deepak Nitrite Ltd and Nippon Life India Asset Management Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Zuari Industries Ltd, Munjal Auto Industries Ltd, Paradeep Phosphates Ltd and Goodluck India Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE FMCG Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.

As of September 24, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 461 lakh crore or USD 5.19 trillion. On the same day, 176 stocks hit a 52-week high while 76 stocks touched a 52-week low.
