Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Friday with the Sensex up 0.28 per cent at 81,207 and the Nifty-50 up 0.23 per cent at 24,894. About 2,715 shares have advanced, 1,481 shares have declined and 143 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.78 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.09 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Aegis Vopak Terminals Ltd, Lloyds Metals & Energy Ltd, Kalyan Jewellers India Ltd and Indian Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were KIOCL Ltd, Orient Technologies Ltd, Sai Silks (Kalamandir) Ltd and V-Mart Retail Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Industrials Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Healthcare Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of October 03, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 458 lakh crore or USD 5.16 trillion. On the same day, 190           stocks hit a 52-week high while 83 stocks touched a 52-week low.
