Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.18 per cent at 84,628 and the Nifty-50 down 0.11 per cent at 25,936. About 1,910 shares have advanced, 2,246 shares have declined and 176 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,290.06 on October 23, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,104.20 on October 23, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.12 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.06 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Suzlon Energy Ltd, GE Vernova T&D India Ltd, UPL Ltd and Indian Bank. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Cartrade Tech Ltd, Worth Investment & Trading Company Ltd, Newgen Software Technologies Ltd and Lancer Containers Lines Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Commodities Index and BSE Metals Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

As of October 28, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 471 lakh crore or USD 5.34 trillion. On the same day, 160 stocks hit a 52-week high while 84 stocks touched a 52-week low.
