Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.64 per cent at 85,221 and the Nifty-50 up 0.74 per cent at 26.130. About 2,799 shares have advanced, 1,413 shares have declined and 162 shares were unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,310 on November 27, 2025.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.01per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.19 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd, Gujarat Gas Ltd, Steel Authority of India Ltd and L&T Finance Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Kiri Industries Ltd, Orient Technologies Ltd, Synergy Green Industries Ltd and Axtel Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of December 31, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 476 lakh crore or USD 5.29 trillion. On the same day, 126 stocks hit a 52-week high while 145 stocks touched a 52-week low.
