Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 0.30 per cent at 83,628 and the Nifty-50 down 0.22 per cent at 25,732. About 2,038 shares have advanced, 2,099 shares have declined and 190 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the mixed territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.61 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.46 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd, Oil India Ltd, J K Cements Ltd and Emcure Pharmaceuticals Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Garuda Construction and Engineering Ltd, Redtape Ltd, Chemplast Sanmar Ltd and Navkar Corporation Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Focused IT Index and BSE PSU Bank Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Telecommunication Index and BSE Industrials Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 13, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 468 lakh crore or USD 5.18 trillion. On the same day, 69 stocks hit a 52-week high while 232 stocks touched a 52-week low.
