Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in blood red on Tuesday with the Sensex down 1.28 per cent at 82,180 and the Nifty-50 down 1.38 per cent at 25,586. About 780 shares have advanced, 3,503 shares have declined and 119 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 2.52 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 2.74 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Deepak Nitrite Ltd, Sun TV Network Ltd, J K Cements Ltd and General Insurance Corporation of India. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were InfoBeans Technologies Ltd, Wim Plast Ltd, Deccan Cements Ltd and Popular Vehicles & Services Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were traded in red with BSE Consumer Discretionary Index, BSE Industrials Index, BSE Capital Goods Index, BSE Consumer Durables and BSE Realty Index, which gained over 2 per cent each.

As of January 20, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 456 lakh crore or USD 5.01 trillion. On the same day, 66 stocks hit a 52-week high while 713 stocks touched a 52-week low.
