Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.60 per cent at 82,345 and the Nifty-50 up 0.66 per cent at 25,343. About 2,945 shares have advanced, 1,291 shares have declined and 137 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index up 1.69 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index up 1.81 per cent. The top 100 mid-cap index gainers were Oil India Ltd, CG Power & Industrial Solutions Ltd, Motilal Oswal Financial Services Ltd and Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Tejas Networks Ltd, Hindustan Copper Ltd, Data Patterns (India) Ltd and Schneider Electric Infrastructure Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Capital Goods Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index being the Top Gainers, while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 28, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 460 lakh crore or USD 5.01 trillion. On the same day, 86 stocks hit a 52-week high while 261 stocks touched a 52-week low.
