Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.66 per cent at 83,675 and the Nifty-50 down 0.57 per cent at 25,807. About 1,676 shares have advanced, 2,530 shares have declined and 163 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index down 0.46 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index down 0.86 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were Max Financial Services Ltd, Housing & Urban Development Corporation Ltd, Muthoot Finance Ltd and Bharat Forge Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Godrej Agrovet Ltd, Finolex Industries Ltd, Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd and Hindustan Copper Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Financial Services Index and BSE Consumer Durables Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 12, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 472 lakh crore or USD 5.21 trillion. On the same day, 140 stocks hit a 52-week high while 111 stocks touched a 52-week low.
