Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in red on Friday with the Sensex down 1.17 per cent at 81,287 and the Nifty-50 up 1.25 per cent at 25,179. About 1,663 shares have advanced, 2,525 shares have declined and 181 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index down 1.09 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index down 0.86 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were L&T Technology Services Ltd, Dixon Technologies (India) Ltd, 3M India Ltd and Oil India Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Tejas Networks Ltd, Redington Ltd, Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd and Sun TV Network Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE IT Index and BSE Focused IT Index being the Top Gainers, while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 27, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 463 lakh crore or USD 5.10 trillion. On the same day, 100 stocks hit a 52-week high while 340 stocks touched a 52-week low.
