Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on April 03

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading negative on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.04 per cent at 73,877 and the Nifty-50 down 0.08 per cent at 22,435. About 2,797 shares have advanced, 1,055 have declined and 113 were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 74,254.62 on April 01, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 made a new 52-week high of 22,529.95 on April 01, 2024.

The broader markets were in green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.61 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.18 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were JSW Energy Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Laurus Labs Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd, Cochin Shipyard Ltd and Indo Amines Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with BSE Utilities Index and BSE Power Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE Auto Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 397 lakh crore or USD 4.79 trillion as of April 03, 2024. On the same day, 194 stocks hit a 52-week high while 17 stocks touched a 52-week low.
