Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on July 25

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.14 per cent at 80,040, and the Nifty-50 down 0.03 per cent at 24,406. About 2,117 shares have advanced, 1,796 shares have declined and 110 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 81,588 on July 19, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 24,855 on July 19, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.11 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.14 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were United Breweries Ltd, Hindustan Petroleum Ltd and Oil India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are MMTC Ltd, Faze Three Ltd and Sigachi Industries Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading in mixed with the BSE Oil & Gas Index and BSE Energy Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Realty Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.50 lakh crore or USD 5.38 trillion as of July 25, 2024. On the same day, 249 stocks hit a 52-week high while 16 stocks touched a 52-week low.
