Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on May 24

On Wednesday, at 03:30 pm, indices ended the trading session in red with the BSE Sensex Index down 0.34 per cent at 61,774 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index down 0.34 per cent at 18,285. About 1,673 shares have advanced, 1,796 declined and 133 are unchanged on BSE.  

Gautam Exim Ltd is a trader and importer of imported waste paper and indigenous waste paper, chemicals and finished paper. The shares of the company zoomed 20 per cent upper circuit to Rs 93.54 per share just after the announcement of the upcoming Board meeting. The share of the company also traded at a new 52-week high of Rs 93.54.

Tuticorin Alkali Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd manufactures and sells soda ash and ammonium chloride fertilizer. The company's shares saw heavy buying and hit a 20 per cent upper circuit to Rs 65.02 per share. The shares of the company also saw a spurt in volume by more than 34.42 times on BSE.

Andhra Cements Ltd is in the business of cement production and is part of Jaypee Group. The shares of the company saw heavy buying and locked in a 10 per cent upper circuit and traded at a new 52-week high of Rs 98.35 per share with a spurt in volume by more than 29.15 times on BSE.
