Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on November 22

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Friday with the Sensex up 2.54 per cent at 79,117 and the Nifty-50 up 2.39 per cent at 23,907. About 2,446 shares have advanced, 1,475 shares have declined and 120 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 1.26 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 0.90 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were SJVN Ltd, The Phoenix Mills Ltd and Oil India Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are EKI Energy Ltd, Praj Industries Ltd and Swan Energy Ltd.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in green with the BSE Focused IT Index; BSE Teck Index and BSE IT Index being the Top Gainers which jumped over 3 per cent each.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.33 lakh crore or USD 5.12 trillion as of November 22, 2024. On the same day, 163 stocks hit a 52-week high while 107 stocks touched a 52-week low.
