Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on September 13

At 11.30 am on Tuesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 continued their winning streak ahead of the US inflation data, which is set to release this week.  

Meanwhile in India, August CPI inflation data rose to 7 per cent from 6.71 per cent in July due to high food prices.  

Sensex is trading at 60,517.24 level, higher by 382.21 points or 0.64 per cent while Nifty 50 is at 18,048.20, up by 111.85 points or 0.62 per cent. Nifty Bank is at the 40,749.75 level, up by 0.43 per cent.  

The FIIs bought equity worth Rs 2,049.65 crore on Monday (September 12) while the DIIs sold equity for a net worth of Rs 890.51 crore.      

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Titan Company, HDFC Life Insurance Company, Bharti Airtel, Hindalco Industries, and Grasim Industries. Meanwhile, the stocks pulling down the index include Cipla, Shree Cement, Tata Consultancy Services, HCL Technologies, and UltraTech Cement.                 

BSE Smallcap index rose 0.42 per cent and got settled at 29,948.74. The top gainers in the pack are Gujarat Apollo Industries (19.98 per cent), Dharamsi Morarji Chemical Company (12.63 per cent), Valiant Organics (11.93 per cent), Muthoot Capital (10.74 per cent), and Wonderla Holidays (9.71 per cent).  

On the sectoral front, all the indices are trading in green with stocks of consumer durable, FMCG, metal, and basic materials companies leading the gains.
