Stocks to Watch Tomorrow
From a Rs 900 crore buyback to a fresh Rs 8.25 crore order and a Rs 535.69 crore data centre acquisition, these three stocks could draw investor attention on Friday.
✨ Key Takeaways
Indian equity benchmarks ended lower on Thursday, August 27, as selling in heavyweight stocks, particularly HDFC Bank, dragged the indices lower despite gains across broader Asian markets.
The Nifty 50 closed at 24,090.85, down 116.90 points, or 0.48 per cent. Market sentiment remained cautious amid volatility in crude oil prices and renewed geopolitical concerns.
Brent crude oil traded around USD 88 per barrel as markets assessed improving supply prospects against risks linked to tensions in the Middle East. Hopes of lower shipping disruptions through the Strait of Hormuz offered some relief after Iran and Oman discussed a potential revenue-sharing arrangement, although uncertainty remains over the reopening of the key shipping route.
