Stocks to Watch Tomorrow
From a ₹5,300 crore power transmission project to fresh railway and FMCG orders, three stocks could be on investors' radar in the next trading session.
✨ Key Takeaways
Indian markets extended their losing streak to a fourth session on September 3, with the Nifty 50 falling 0.17 per cent and the Sensex declining 411.49 points. Investor sentiment remained weak amid heightened Iran-related tensions, while Brent crude trading near USD 97 a barrel and rising global bond yields added to concerns over inflation and interest rates.
Against this backdrop, here are the stocks that could remain in focus in the next trading session:
Ceigall India Ltd received a Letter of Intent (LoI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy Ltd (RECPDCL) for the development of a major common transmission system in Gujarat.
The project, titled “Common Transmission System for evacuation of power from Lakadia (Phase-II: 7.5 GW), Jam Khambhaliya (Phase-II: 5.5 GW) and Jamnagar (Phase-I: 1 GW) – Part-B”, involves the development of a 765/400 kV Air Insulated Substation (AIS) and around 300 km of transmission lines.
The project has an estimated value of ₹5,300 crore, including GST. Under the project, Ceigall India will receive annual transmission charges of ₹608.67 crore during the 35-year operational period. The order strengthens the company's presence in the power transmission infrastructure segment and could keep the stock in focus in the next trading session.
Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a Railway infrastructure project awarded by East Coast Railway.
The order involves the execution of roadbed works, minor and major bridges, RUBs/LHS, building works, ballast supply, track linking and other allied works. It also includes utility shifting, signalling and telecommunications works and electrification-related works.
The project is connected to the execution of the third railway line between Nergundi-Barang and Khurda Road-Vizianagaram on the Bhadrak-Vizianagaram section, covering a total stretch of around 385 km. The contract is valued at ₹404.88 crore, including GST.
Veerhealth Care Ltd has received a repeat order worth ₹4.36 crore from a leading FMCG company for the supply of face care products.
According to the company, the buyer operates in the domestic and international personal and household care segment and is part of a prominent 125-year-old business group.
The order is a monthly repeat order from the same client and is expected to be executed within 45 days. The latest contract adds to Veerhealth Care's business from an existing customer and could draw attention to the stock in the next trading session.
