Technical glitch at NSE; trading at NSE & BSE to remain open till 5 pm today

As jointly decided between the Exchanges, NSE & BSE will remain open for an extended trading session from 3.45 pm to 5 pm on Wednesday. 

As per the announcement, 3.45-4 pm will be the pre-market while a normal trading session will be from 4-5 pm. All F&O MIS position will get squared off at 4.15 pm and all F&O CO positions would forcibly be squared off by 4 pm. Only CNC and normal orders will be allowed in the extended session. 

Earlier in the day, trading at NSE forcibly halted in all segments at 11.40 am due to a glitch in the index price feed.
