List of stocks that ended close to their 52-week high on Wednesday.
Frontline equity indices Nifty50 (+0.56 per cent) and Sensex (+0.55 per cent) recouped early losses to close at new record highs on Wednesday. The surge was supported by gains in banking and IT stocks.
Top Nifty gainers of the day were Bajaj Auto, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, Bharti Airtel and SBI Life Insurance.
Sector-wise, the Bank index closed up by 1 per cent, while pharma and IT indices finished 0.7 per cent higher.
