These are buzzing mid-cap & small-cap stocks on Wednesday

On Wednesday, the domestic benchmark indices remained volatile with Sensex fluctuating between green and red. On the other hand, BSE Mid-Cap index was up by 0.10 per cent while BSE Small-Cap index rose by 0.20 per cent.  

Paint stocks were in green as the sector believes that the worst phase of the COVID-19 demand blues is over and now, a further volume recovery can be expected. Paint makers intend to focus on budget friendly paints, emulsions, putty, and other products in waterproofing & adhesives segments to benefit from the rising demand.  

Amongst the small-cap stocks, Paisalo Digital, Rupa & Company as well as Coromandel International emerged as the top losers while mid-cap stocks such as REC Ltd, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, PFC, etc. declined on Wednesday.
