NLC India Q4FY26 Results

NLC India reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 5,042 crore in Q4FY26 as against Rs 3,836 crore reported in Q4FY25, registering a growth of around 31 per cent YoY.

Profit before exceptional items and tax stood at Rs 1,518 crore during Q4FY26 compared to Rs 912 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year, reflecting a growth of around 66 per cent YoY. Profit attributable to owners of the company stood at Rs 1,393 crore in Q4FY26 compared to Rs 482 crore reported in Q4FY25, reflecting a strong growth of around 189 per cent YoY.

NLC India FY26 Performance

For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, NLC India reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 17,490 crore as against Rs 15,283 crore reported in FY25, registering a growth of around 14 per cent YoY.

Profit before exceptional items and tax stood at Rs 3,875 crore during FY26 compared to Rs 3,697 crore reported in the previous financial year.

Profit attributable to owners of the company stood at Rs 3,522 crore in FY26 compared to Rs 2,621 crore reported in the previous financial year, registering a growth of around 34 per cent YoY.

Dividend Announcement

The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of 2.50 per cent, equivalent to Rs 0.25 per equity share having face value of Rs 10 each for FY2025-26, subject to shareholder approval.

This is in addition to the interim dividend of 36 per cent, equivalent to Rs 3.60 per equity share, already declared and paid during FY26.

Operational And Business Highlights

NLC India reported all-time highest gross power generation of 28.95 billion units during FY26, including renewable energy generation of 2.26 billion units.

Coal production from Talabira II & III OCP stood at 19.14 million tonnes during FY26 compared to 17.20 million tonnes reported in the previous financial year, registering a growth of 11.28 per cent YoY. The company also achieved all-time highest annual capital expenditure of more than Rs 9,131 crore during FY26.

During the year, NLC India added 1,013 MW power generation capacity, including 660 MW thermal capacity from Unit-2 of Ghatampur Thermal Power Project and 303 MW renewable energy capacity. Pachwara South Coal Mine with capacity of 9 MTPA commenced coal production in March 2026.

NLC India Renewables Ltd also received Letter of Award from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) for development of 600 MW solar capacity coupled with 300 MW / 1800 MWh Energy Storage System. As part of its asset monetisation strategy, seven operational renewable assets with total capacity of 1.4 GW were transferred from NLC India to NLC India Renewables Ltd (NIRL).

The Government of India also approved listing of NLC India Renewables Ltd through fresh issue of equity shares and disinvestment of up to 25 per cent stake in the subsidiary through public offering.
