Project Details
The company has announced a partnership with Sangam India Limited to supply hybrid renewable energy for its manufacturing operations in Rajasthan. The agreement includes the supply of 30 MWp of Solar power and 20 MW of wind power.

The project will also include a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a capacity of 2 MWh. This combination of solar, wind, and storage is aimed at providing round-the-clock power supply across multiple facilities.

The power will be supplied to five manufacturing units of the textile company located in Rajasthan. The supply will be sourced from the company’s hybrid renewable energy project located at Bhikamkor under an intra-state group captive structure.

Expansion in Rajasthan
The company continues to expand its presence in Rajasthan, where it has established renewable energy projects in locations such as Bhikamkor and Bikaner. As of March 31, 2026, it has a total operational capacity of around 525 MW in the state. At the overall level, the company has approximately 5.7 GW of contracted renewable energy capacity, of which around 3.1 GW has already been commissioned.

Nature of the Project
The hybrid renewable energy model combines solar and wind generation with energy storage. This helps in maintaining a stable and predictable power supply across different times of the day. Solar energy generation is typically higher during the day, while wind energy can complement it during other periods. The addition of storage further supports continuity in power supply. Such projects are used by industrial consumers to ensure reliable energy availability while reducing dependence on conventional energy sources.
