Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 7.61 points or 0.01 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.19 per cent, power zoomed by 0.43 per cent, and auto surged by 0.14 per cent.

Meanwhile, Rallis India Ltd, Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd, and Power Mech Projects Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Rallis India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.11 per cent to trade at Rs 375.40 apiece. Rallis India Ltd reported a strong performance in Q1 FY26, with revenue rising 22 per cent year-on-year to Rs 957 crore, up from Rs 783 crore in Q1 FY25. Profit After Tax nearly doubled to Rs 95 crore from Rs 48 crore. The company witnessed volume-led growth of 13 per cent in Crop Care B2C, 23 per cent in Crop Care B2B, 38 per cent in the Seeds business, and 33 per cent in Soil & Plant Health. Managing Director & CEO Dr Gyanendra Shukla attributed the growth to early monsoons, global recovery in select products, and improved product mix and cost optimization, which also led to PAT margins improving from 6 per cent to 10 per cent. He highlighted strong traction in cotton seed hybrids like “Diggaz” and emphasized continued focus on customer-centric innovations, manufacturing capabilities, and digital transformation.
Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.31 per cent to trade at Rs 1,424.80 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Power Mech Projects Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 4.07 per cent to trade at Rs 3,349.50 apiece. Power Mech Projects Ltd has announced the receipt of two significant domestic orders totaling Rs 551.35 crores. The first order, worth Rs 498.39 crores (excluding taxes and GST), was awarded by SJVN Thermal (P) Ltd for commissioning support and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the Coal-Based Supercritical Buxar Thermal Power Project (2 x 660 MW) in Buxar, Bihar, with an execution period of 39 months. The second order, valued at Rs 52.96 crores, came from Jhabua Power Limited (a joint venture of NTPC Limited) for the operation and maintenance of the boiler, turbine, and generator of a 600 MW unit located in Seoni, Madhya Pradesh, with a contract period of 3 years and a provision for a one-year extension.
