Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 160.80 points or 0.25 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.44 per cent, power zoomed by 0.01 per cent, and auto dipped by 0.08 per cent.

Meanwhile, Shaily Engineering Plastics Ltd, Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Ltd and Dish TV India Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Shaily Engineering Plastics Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 19.97 per cent to trade at Rs 1,969.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Cholamandalam Financial Holdings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 8.54 per cent to trade at Rs 2,299.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Dish TV India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 6.89 per cent to trade at Rs 6.36 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
