At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 138 points or 0.17 per cent.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.33 per cent, power zoomed by 0.22 per cent, and auto surged by 0.29 per cent.

Meanwhile, TBOTEK Ltd, MOIL Ltd and Sunteck Realty Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the session today.
TBOTEK Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 12.03 per cent to trade at Rs 1,550.00 apiece. TBO (NSE: TBO TEK), based in Gurugram, India, announced its agreement to acquire US based Classic Vacations from Phoenix-based investment firm, The Najafi Companies, for an estimated total purchase of up to USD 125 million.
MOIL Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.41 per cent to trade at Rs 360.00 apiece. MOIL has sustained its performance momentum by achieving its highest-ever August production of 1.45 lakh tonnes in August 2025, registering an impressive 17 per cent growth over the corresponding period last year (CPLY).
Sunteck Realty Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 4.27 per cent to trade at Rs 401.65 apiece. The Board of Directors of the company is scheduled to meet on September 5, 2025, to consider and approve the issue of securities on a preferential basis. The proposed fundraise is aimed at raising additional capital of up to Rs 500 crores.
