Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 136 points or 0.16 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.47 per cent, power zoomed by 0.19 per cent, and auto surged by 0.42 per cent.

Meanwhile, Avanti Feeds Ltd, Garware Hi-Tech Films Ltd and Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Metro Brands Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.19 per cent to trade at Rs 1,198.80 apiece.

DIIs-Increased-Stake-This-Indian-Textile-Exporter-Hits-All-Time-High-with-Heavy-Volumes-Today-40569">Gokaldas Exports Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 7.25 per cent to trade at Rs 893.80 apiece.

ESAB India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 7.07 per cent to trade at Rs 5,189.85 apiece. The company has announced its Q2 FY26 results.

IPO today

In the mainline IPO segment, IPOs of PhysicsWallah and Emmvee Photovoltaic will open for public subscription. In the SME space, Workmates Core2Cloud Solution IPO and Mahamaya Lifesciences IPO will open for bidding.
