Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.38 per cent to trade at Rs 605.30 apiece. Company has received a Letter of Empanelment from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited for 15,000 Off-Grid Solar Photovoltaic Water Pumping Systems (SPWPS) Pumps under Magel Tyala Saur Krushi Pump Yojana. The total value of 15,000 pumps is around Rs. 353.89 Crores (inclusive of GST).

Kitex Garments Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 4.64 per cent to trade at Rs 166.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
