Meanwhile, Manorama Industries Ltd, Welspun Living Ltd and Indigo Paints Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

Manorama Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.88 per cent to trade at Rs 1,710.05 apiece. Manorama Industries reported a strong Q1 FY27, with consolidated revenue rising 39.5 per cent YoY to Rs 4,040.1 million, while EBITDA increased 42.2 per cent to Rs 1,062.1 million. PAT surged 67.6 per cent to Rs 786.6 million, supported by an improved value-added product mix, higher utilisation of fractionation facilities and better operating leverage. The company also strengthened its global sourcing network by incorporating a wholly owned subsidiary in Chad and acquiring land in Burkina Faso for a Shea seed processing facility.

Welspun Living Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.54 per cent to trade at Rs 168.65 apiece. Welspun Living reported a strong Q1 FY27, with total income rising 23.5 per cent YoY to Rs 2,828 crore, while EBITDA grew 39.1 per cent to Rs 354 crore and EBITDA margin expanded to 12.5 per cent. PAT surged 83.6 per cent YoY to Rs 161 crore, supported by healthy volume recovery, operating leverage and an improving business mix. Home Textile revenue grew 26.2 per cent, while the domestic business increased 21.3 per cent. The company said its UK and Europe businesses grew over 20 per cent, while its US pillow platform continued to scale, with Ohio operating at over 80 per cent utilisation and Nevada now operational.

Indigo Paints Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.20 per cent to trade at Rs 1,190.55 apiece. Indigo Paints reported a strong Q1 FY27 performance, with revenue from operations rising 18.7 per cent YoY to Rs 350 crore, supported by double-digit growth in both value and volume. EBITDA increased 42 per cent to Rs 61.9 crore, with the margin expanding to 17.7 per cent from 14.8 per cent in Q1 FY26, aided by economies of scale and cost optimisation. PAT surged 60.7 per cent YoY to Rs 42.4 crore, while the PAT margin improved to 11.8 per cent. The company maintained a strong gross margin of 45.3 per cent despite supply-chain disruptions and reduced A&P spending to 4.3 per cent of revenue.
