Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 167 points or 0.20 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.35 per cent, power zoomed by 0.15 per cent, and auto surged by 0.24 per cent.

Meanwhile, Avanti Feeds Ltd, Garware Hi-Tech Films Ltd and Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

Godrej Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.43 per cent to trade at Rs 1,119.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Persistent Systems Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 4.15 per cent to trade at Rs 5,545.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Godfrey Phillips India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 3.50 per cent to trade at Rs 3,374.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

IPO today

In the mainline IPO segment, the Midwest IPO launches today, while the basis of allotment for Canara HSBC Life Insurance IPO shares will also be finalised.

In the SME space, the basis of allotment for Sihora Industries IPO, SK Minerals & Additives IPO, and Shlokka Dyes IPO shares is expected to be finalised today.
