Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 103 points or 0.12 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.07 per cent, power plunged by 0.09 per cent, and auto surged by 0.23 per cent.

Meanwhile, Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd, Garware Technical Fibres Ltd and Metro Brands Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.76 per cent to trade at Rs 719.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Garware Technical Fibres Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 6.76 per cent to trade at Rs 810.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Metro Brands Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 6.16 per cent to trade at Rs 1,196.45 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

In the mainline IPO segment, the Studds Accessories IPO is set to close for subscription today, while the Lenskart Solutions IPO enters its second day of subscription.
