NHPC Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.72 per cent to trade at Rs 75.69 apiece. The Government of India, through the Ministry of Power, has decided to exercise the oversubscription option in the Offer for Sale (OFS) of NHPC Ltd, increasing the total offer size to 60.27 crore equity shares, representing 6 per cent of the company’s paid-up equity capital as of March 31, 2026. Of the total offer, 10 per cent, or 6.03 crore shares, will be reserved for retail investors on June 3. The government has also expanded the employee reservation portion to up to 90.41 lakh shares, with eligible employees allowed to apply for shares worth up to Rs 5 lakh.
Borosil Renewables Ltd, an S&P BSE company, advanced 3.46 per cent to trade at Rs 518.80 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
