Uttar Pradesh’s representation increased to 46 names in 2026 from 41 in 2025, marking a net addition of five individuals. The latest list also saw 11 new entrants from the state, while six names that appeared in the previous edition were not included this year. One of the new names featured is Govindji Gupta from Mirzapur. Govindji Gupta is an Indian entrepreneur and the Managing Director of SBC Exports Ltd.
According to Hurun India Chief Analyst Anas Rahman, the business landscape represented by Uttar Pradesh’s wealthy individuals has become more diverse. The entrepreneurs on the list come from a wide range of sectors, including electronics, manufacturing, education, Real Estate, food products, software, financial services, healthcare, Construction, metals and mining, and Aerospace.
The latest edition highlights the increasing presence of Uttar Pradesh-based entrepreneurs across traditional industries as well as newer sectors such as technology and services. While industrial and real estate businesses continue to have a significant representation, the list also reflects the expansion of wealth creation into areas such as software, healthcare and aerospace.
