Vedanta Aluminium Metal Limited reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations increased 46 per cent YoY and 11.9 per cent QoQ to Rs 21,393 crore, compared with Rs 14,654 crore in the corresponding quarter last year and Rs 19,124 crore in Q4 FY26. Total income rose to Rs 21,702 crore from Rs 14,862 crore in Q1 FY26 and Rs 19,432 crore in the previous quarter.

Profit after tax (PAT) increased 205 per cent YoY and 33.1 per cent QoQ to Rs 6,597 crore from Rs 2,162 crore a year ago and Rs 4,958 crore in the preceding quarter. Earnings per share (EPS) rose to Rs 14.39 from Rs 4.55 in Q1 FY26.
Vedanta Aluminium Metal Operational Performance
The company's EBITDA increased to Rs 10,499 crore from Rs 4,479 crore in the year-ago quarter, reflecting strong operating performance.
During the quarter, cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 5,470 crore, power and fuel charges were Rs 3,538 crore, while finance costs came in at Rs 1,001 crore. Total expenses for the quarter were Rs 12,870 crore.
Vedanta Aluminium Metal Board Declares Interim Dividend
The Board of Directors approved the first interim dividend of Rs 8 per equity share (face value Rs 1 each) for FY27, amounting to approximately Rs 3,128.55 crore.
The record date for determining eligible shareholders has been fixed as Wednesday, August 5, 2026, and the dividend will be paid within the timelines prescribed under applicable law.

Other Key Developments
The Board also approved the introduction of the Vedanta Aluminium Metal Employee Stock Option Plan (VAML ESOP 2026) and the Employee Share Purchase Plan (VAML ESPP 2026), subject to shareholders' approval.
The ESOP scheme will cover up to 4.25 per cent of the company's paid-up share capital, while the ESPP will cover up to 0.75 per cent, with both schemes proposed to be implemented through a trust route.
