Welspun Corp Ltd shares rose 4.91 per cent to Rs 2,824.40 after its U.S. subsidiary secured its largest-ever pipe order, lifting its global Order Book to a record Rs 42,100 crore.

Welspun Corp Ltd shares moved higher on Friday, September 25, after the company announced that its U.S. subsidiary had secured its largest-ever order in the U.S. market. The stock opened at Rs 2,782, compared with the previous close of Rs 2,694.60, and touched an Intraday high of Rs 2,810 on the BSE. The stock was later trading at Rs 2,824.40, up 4.91 per cent or Rs 132.20.

The market reaction followed the company's disclosure that its subsidiary had received a major contract, strengthening order visibility and supporting sentiment around its global pipe business.

Welspun Corp announced that its U.S. subsidiary had secured the company's biggest-ever order for the supply of pipes. The contract is valued at around USD 1.8 billion, equivalent to approximately Rs 17,200 crore. The order involves supplying pipes from the company's U.S. manufacturing facility.

Following the addition of this contract, Welspun Corp's global order book reached a record level of around Rs 42,100 crore, or USD 4.4 billion. The large order strengthens the company's presence in the global energy infrastructure market, where demand for large-diameter pipes remains linked to pipeline development and energy transportation projects.

The company has indicated that execution of such large orders will provide multi-year revenue visibility, with deliveries spread across upcoming financial years.

Apart from the U.S. order, Welspun Corp's associate company East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC) in Saudi Arabia recently secured another major contract from Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco).

The contract, valued at more than 771 million Saudi riyals, equivalent to approximately Rs 2,000 crore, involves the manufacturing and supply of steel pipes. The order is expected to be executed over six months, with the financial impact expected from Q4 FY27 to Q1 FY28.

EPIC is one of Saudi Arabia's leading manufacturers of Helical Submerged Arc Welded (HSAW) pipes and operates integrated manufacturing facilities. The company supplies pipes for large-scale energy and infrastructure projects in the region. The order also aligns with Saudi Arabia's infrastructure and energy expansion plans under Vision 2030, strengthening EPIC's presence in the country's oil and gas ecosystem.

The latest order announcement adds to a strong period for Welspun Corp shares. The stock has witnessed significant momentum in 2026, supported by large order wins and improving business visibility. Earlier reports highlighted a gain of more than 230 per cent year-to-date.

The company had also previously announced a Rs 1,400 crore order for oil and gas export projects from its India facility, further strengthening its order pipeline.

Welspun Corp continues to expand its presence across global markets through large-scale pipe supply contracts. With manufacturing capabilities in India and the U.S., along with exposure to markets such as Saudi Arabia, the company has operations across key energy infrastructure regions.

The latest order wins highlight continued demand for its products, while investors will continue to track execution and financial performance as these projects progress towards completion.
