Oregon Public Employees Retirement System Buys 1.91 Lakh Shares

According to the latest bulk deal data, Oregon Public Employees Retirement System, one of the largest public pension funds in the United States, purchased 1,90,773 equity shares of Ramco Systems on June 29, 2026 through the NSE. The shares were acquired at an average price of Rs 772.40 per share, reflecting continued institutional interest in the IT company.

Promoter Holding Rises While Institutional Ownership Remains Strong

Ramco Systems has witnessed a notable improvement in its shareholding pattern over the past few years. Promoter holding increased to 55.69 per cent as of March 2026 from 52.12 per cent in June 2023, reflecting higher promoter confidence in the business.

Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) held 10.02 per cent of the company at the end of March 2026, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) held 2.03 per cent. Public shareholding stood at 32.27 per cent, indicating continued participation from both institutional and retail investors.

Ramco Systems Balance Sheet Strengthens as Debt Declines

The company's balance sheet has also improved significantly over the last three financial years. Borrowings have declined from Rs 106 crore in FY23 to Rs 43 crore in FY26, reflecting continued deleveraging and prudent capital management.

During the same period, the company strengthened its financial position by improving reserves to Rs 312 crore in FY26, while maintaining a healthy asset base of Rs 745 crore. The reduction in debt provides greater financial flexibility to support future growth initiatives.

Ramco Systems has delivered impressive returns across multiple timeframes. The stock has gained 81.37 per cent over the past one month, 42.87 per cent in the last six months and 98.60 per cent over the past one year. The company currently commands a market capitalisation of approximately Rs 3,056 crore.
