Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a gain of 142 points or 0.17 per cent.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.31 per cent, power plunged by 0.26 per cent, and auto slipped by 0.10 per cent.

Meanwhile, PNB Housing Finance Ltd, Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd and Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

 

PNB Housing Finance Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.35 per cent to trade at Rs 1,024.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.

Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rallied 5.05 per cent to trade at Rs 720.25 apiece. Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd informed that it has received its first Letter of Award from Karnataka Renewable Energy Development Ltd for the design, manufacture, supply, transport, installation, testing and commissioning of 16,780 standalone off-grid DC Solar photovoltaic water pumping systems across Karnataka under Component-B of the PM-KUSUM scheme. The total value of the order is around Rs 654.03 crore (inclusive of GST), to be completed on or before March 31, 2026. The contract is domestic in nature and does not fall under related party transactions.

Ganesh Housing Corporation Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 4.31 per cent to trade at Rs 789.70 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
