Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen in These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in mixed on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.03 per cent at 82,249 and the Nifty-50 up 0.06 per cent at 25,497. About 2,169 shares have advanced, 2,029 shares have declined and 158 shares have been unchanged on the BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 86,056 on November 27, 2025 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,373.20 on January 05, 2026.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE 150 Mid-Cap Index down 0.40 per cent and the BSE 250 Small-Cap Index down 0.76 per cent. The top 150 mid-cap index gainers were Tube Investments of India Ltd, Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd, IDFC First Bank Ltd and Fortis Healthcare Ltd. In contrast, the top 250 small-cap index gainers were Tejas Networks Ltd, Jammu and Kashmir Bank Ltd, Tanla Platforms Ltd, Data Patterns (India) Ltd and Finolex Cables Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were traded mixed with the BSE Hospitals Index and BSE Oil & Gas Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index were the Top Losers.

As of February 26, 2026, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 468 lakh crore or USD 5.11 trillion. On the same day, 109 stocks hit a 52-week high while 258 stocks touched a 52-week low.
