In its June 8, 2026 Company Update, ICICI Securities retained its BUY recommendation on Titan Company Ltd and described Titan as one of its top picks in the discretionary space. The investment case is centred on management's ambitious FY26-FY30 growth aspirations, Titan's expanding share in organised domestic jewellery, a strong balance sheet and the scope to scale relatively underpenetrated businesses.
Elevated gold prices, potential inflation and government measures to curb gold consumption could affect near-term performance, particularly in H1 FY27. However, ICICI Securities believes improving jewellery market share and balance-sheet strength should help Titan navigate this environment. Management's aspirations provide upside risk to the broker's FY27E and FY28E estimates, although ICICI Securities intends to assess near-term performance before materially revising its forecasts.
At its 2026 investor meeting, Titan management guided for revenue to compound at 20 per cent over FY26-FY30 and for overall EBIT to approximately double. Core businesses, comprising India Jewellery brands Tanishq, Mia and Zoya, Caratlane, Watches and Eyecare, are expected to grow at a 19-23 per cent CAGR. International jewellery, TEAL and emerging businesses such as Bags, Saree and Fragrances are targeted to grow at a 26-32 per cent CAGR. Recently acquired Damas is expected to grow roughly twofold over FY26-FY30.
Titan operated 3,377 stores across 436 towns, with retail area of 4.9 million square feet across brands. The company derives around Rs 15,000 crore of revenue through omni-channel operations and Rs 3,000 crore through analytics and CRM campaigns.
India Jewellery revenue grew at a 23 per cent CAGR during FY23-FY26, while buyer growth was 7 per cent. Titan reached a domestic jewellery market share of 8.5 per cent in FY26 and targets 11 per cent by FY30, aided by regionalisation, occasion-led brands and the continuing consumer shift towards organised players.
Management aims for India Jewellery revenue and EBIT CAGR of 19 per cent and 16 per cent, respectively, during FY26-FY30. Titan plans to add 40 Tanishq and 60 Mia stores annually, renovate 60 Tanishq stores annually, and expand its approximately 850-store domestic jewellery footprint across 311 towns.
Mia recorded revenue above Rs 2,000 crore in FY26, while Zoya generated Rs 500 crore. Tanishq RIVAAH targets wedding demand. BeYon, launched in FY26, marks Titan's entry into lab-grown diamonds and is planned to reach 100 stores. Gold exchange accounts for 50 per cent of domestic jewellery sales and 40 per cent of gold supply, helping Titan compete with unorganised jewellers amid higher gold prices.
Management expects domestic jewellery EBIT margin to decline by 60 basis points over FY26-FY30 because of gold-price volatility, a high-bullion mix exceeding 50 per cent of domestic jewellery sales and a lower-karat jewellery mix. This pressure is expected to be offset by margin improvement across other businesses and by Damas and emerging businesses moving towards positive EBITDA.
Titan reported FY26 operating income of Rs 87,584 crore, EBITDA of Rs 8,355 crore and adjusted PAT of Rs 5,148 crore. ICICI Securities forecasts the following financial performance:
| Financial year | Operating income (Rs crore) | EBITDA (Rs crore) | Adjusted PAT (Rs crore) |
|---|---|---|---|
| FY26 | 87,584 | 8,355 | 5,148 |
| FY27E | 91,336 | 9,610 | 5,787 |
| FY28E | 1,05,870 | 11,525 | 7,097 |
The broker values Titan at 63 times FY28E EPS of Rs 79.7 to derive its target price of Rs 4,980.
