1. NTPC Ltd
State-run power major NTPC informed exchanges that Unit-2 of Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd (PVUNL), with a capacity of 800 MW, has successfully completed its trial run operations.
Following the commissioning, the unit has been included in NTPC Ltd’s installed generation capacity. With this addition, the total installed capacity of the NTPC Group has increased to 90,668 MW.
The development is expected to strengthen the company’s thermal power generation portfolio and support long-term capacity expansion plans.
Eicher Motors is expected to remain in focus after reports emerged that its motorcycle arm, Royal Enfield, is set to acquire land for a new greenfield manufacturing facility in Tada (Tirupati), Andhra Pradesh.
The company plans to invest nearly Rs 2,500 crore in the proposed expansion project. Subject to board approval, the facility will be developed in phases, aligned with future demand and market conditions.
Vascon Engineers has received a Letter of Intent worth Rs 131.58 crore from Reliance Industries for a Construction project at RG Expansion, Jamnagar.
The order involves the construction of four G+12 FLL-type buildings for Sector-3 at the site. The project has been awarded on a bill of quantities (BOQ) basis and is scheduled to be completed within 19 months from the date of receipt of the order.
