Air Freight Company Surges 8% as It Signs Boeing LOI for Up to Four 777-8F Freighters; Stock Nears All-Time High

Afcom Holdings Ltd was in focus on Wednesday after the company announced a proposed fleet expansion involving Boeing's latest-generation freighter aircraft.

The stock closed at Rs 1,651, gaining Rs 123.55, or 8.09 per cent, from its previous close of Rs 1,527.45. The stock opened at Rs 1,495 and touched an Intraday high of Rs 1,650.

The stock is now trading close to its all-time high of Rs 1,680, recorded on August 26, 2026.

Afcom Holdings Signs LOI With Boeing

According to the company's exchange filing, Afcom Holdings has executed a Letter of Intent with The Boeing Company for the acquisition of up to four Boeing 777-8F Freighter aircraft.

The proposed transaction is subject to the finalisation of definitive agreements between the two parties. The announcement marks a significant potential expansion of Afcom Holdings' cargo aircraft fleet and could strengthen its capacity to handle air freight demand across domestic and international markets.

The Boeing 777-8F is a long-range freighter designed for cargo transportation. The proposed addition of up to four aircraft would represent a sizeable step-up in Afcom Holdings' existing fleet capacity.
