Balkrishna Industries Q1 FY27 Results

Balkrishna Industries Limited reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. On a consolidated basis, revenue from operations increased 25.2 per cent YoY to Rs 3,455.27 crore from Rs 2,760.02 crore in the corresponding quarter last year and rose 17.8 per cent QoQ from Rs 2,932.82 crore in Q4 FY26.

Total income increased to Rs 3,554.94 crore from Rs 2,867.16 crore in Q1 FY26 and Rs 2,928.90 crore in the previous quarter.

Profit before Tax (PBT) rose 52.4 per cent YoY to Rs 601.05 crore from Rs 394.38 crore and increased 49.9 per cent QoQ from Rs 400.94 crore.

Profit after tax (PAT) jumped 56.4 per cent YoY to Rs 450.77 crore from Rs 288.30 crore and increased 50.5 per cent QoQ from Rs 299.46 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) improved to Rs 23.32 from Rs 14.91 in the corresponding quarter last year.

Operational Performance

The company's total expenses increased to Rs 2,953.89 crore from Rs 2,472.78 crore in the year-ago quarter, reflecting higher business activity. Cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 1,860.93 crore, while employee benefit expenses were Rs 172.74 crore. Finance costs came in at Rs 36.77 crore, and depreciation and amortisation expenses stood at Rs 206.25 crore during the quarter.

Board Declares Interim Dividend

The Board of Directors declared a first interim dividend of Rs 4 per equity share (200 per cent) on equity shares having a face value of Rs 2 each for FY27.

The record date for determining eligible shareholders has been fixed as August 4, 2026, and the dividend will be credited or dispatched within 30 days from the date of declaration in accordance with applicable regulations. The total cash outflow towards the interim dividend will be approximately Rs 77.32 crore.
