Highest-Ever Quarterly Sales: One of India's Largest Two-Wheeler Manufacturers Reports 47% Jump in June Sales; Launches New Scooter in Indonesia

On Thursday, Indian benchmark indices traded higher, with the Nifty 50 rising 68.50 points, or 0.29 per cent, to 24,074.35. Amid the positive market sentiment, TVS Motor Company share price gained 2.95 per cent to Rs 3,597, as investors reacted positively to the company's record sales performance and international product launch.

Records Highest-Ever Quarterly Sales

TVS Motor reported its highest-ever quarterly sales of 16.31 lakh units during Q1 FY27, registering strong growth across domestic and international markets. The company also recorded its highest-ever international sales of 4.68 lakh units during the quarter and its highest-ever electric two-wheeler sales of 1.30 lakh units.

For June 2026, total sales rose 47 per cent year-on-year to 5,90,003 units, compared with 4,02,001 units in June 2025. Total two-wheeler sales increased 47 per cent to 5,65,417 units, while domestic two-wheeler sales climbed 46 per cent to 4,11,014 units. Motorcycle sales grew 42 per cent, scooter sales rose 53 per cent, and electric two-wheeler sales surged to 48,537 units from 14,400 units a year ago. International business also recorded 47 per cent growth during the month.

Launches All-New Callisto 110 in Indonesia

Further strengthening its international strategy, TVS Motor launched the All-New Callisto 110 scooter in Jakarta, Indonesia. Built on the "Built for Real" philosophy, the scooter targets urban commuters and features a 33-litre under-seat storage compartment, front fuel filling, Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), Stop-Go technology, Emergency Brake Signal, Auto-Off Turn Signal, USB charging port, and Body Balance Technology for improved riding comfort.

The launch is strategically important as the 110cc automatic scooter segment accounts for nearly 50 per cent of Indonesia's two-wheeler market. TVS aims to strengthen its market share in the country through the new model, which is available in four colour options and offered at a special introductory price for the first 150 customers.
