Total income stood at Rs 1,188.76 crore during the quarter compared to Rs 777.88 crore reported in the corresponding quarter previous year.
Profit before exceptional items and Tax stood at Rs 592.21 crore in Q4FY26 as against Rs 258.53 crore reported in Q4FY25, reflecting a sharp growth of around 129 per cent YoY.
Profit for the period attributable to owners of the company came in at Rs 444.06 crore during Q4FY26 compared to Rs 189.49 crore reported in the year-ago quarter, registering a growth of around 134 per cent YoY. Earnings per share for the quarter stood at Rs 4.59 compared to Rs 1.94 reported in Q4FY25.
Hindustan Copper FY26 Performance
For the financial year ended March 31, 2026, Hindustan Copper reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs 3,077.92 crore as against Rs 2,070.96 crore reported in FY25, registering a growth of around 49 per cent YoY.
Total income stood at Rs 3,149.67 crore during FY26 compared to Rs 2,148.23 crore reported in the previous financial year.
The company reported profit before exceptional items and tax of Rs 1,328.47 crore in FY26 as against Rs 632.40 crore reported in FY25, reflecting a growth of around 110 per cent YoY.
Profit for the period attributable to owners of the company stood at Rs 920.66 crore during FY26 compared to Rs 467.43 crore reported in the previous financial year, registering a growth of around 97 per cent YoY. Annual earnings per share stood at Rs 9.50 compared to Rs 4.81 reported in FY25.
Operational Highlights
During FY26, Hindustan Copper’s expenses towards cost of materials consumed stood at Rs 74.81 crore compared to Rs 114.44 crore reported in FY25, while employee benefits expense increased to Rs 458.40 crore from Rs 331.26 crore.
The company reported finance costs of Rs 4.91 crore during FY26 compared to Rs 6.93 crore reported in the previous financial year. Depreciation and amortisation expense stood at Rs 200.44 crore during FY26 as against Rs 175.56 crore reported in FY25.
Dividend Announcement
The Board of Directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.86 per equity share of face value Rs 5 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2026, subject to requisite approvals.
