HOMRE Commences Biomass Briquettes And Pellets Manufacturing Operations In Rajasthan

HOMRE Manufacturing Operations Commence

HOMRE Limited informed the stock exchange that manufacturing operations at its Biomass Briquettes and Pellets Manufacturing Facility in Village Tehra Lodha, Tehsil and District Bharatpur, Rajasthan, commenced with effect from May 28, 2026.

The commencement marks the company's entry into active manufacturing operations within the biomass-based renewable fuel segment and represents a key operational milestone in its business expansion strategy.

HOMRE Facility To Produce Renewable Fuel Products

The Bharatpur facility will manufacture biomass briquettes and biomass pellets, which are renewable fuel products produced from agricultural biomass and forestry residue feedstock.

These products are increasingly being used as alternatives to conventional fossil fuels such as coal and lignite across industrial boilers, kilns, agri-processing units and various thermal energy applications. The shift towards biomass fuels is being driven by sustainability initiatives and the growing adoption of cleaner energy sources across industries.

HOMRE Strategic Location Supports Raw Material Availability

According to the company, the facility is strategically located in an agriculturally rich region of Rajasthan, providing access to abundant biomass feedstock including mustard husks, wheat straw and other agricultural crop residues.

The proximity to raw material sources is expected to support cost-efficient procurement and improve supply chain efficiency, which could help the company establish a competitive position in the biomass fuel market.

HOMRE Focus On Capacity Ramp-Up And Order Book Development

HOMRE stated that the facility has been acquired as a leased operational unit and will gradually ramp up production over the coming months. The company plans to build its commercial order book and establish a biomass fuel supply chain serving industrial customers, institutional energy consumers and commercial buyers seeking renewable fuel alternatives.

The company added that details regarding installed production capacity will be disclosed after operational data and capacity utilisation metrics become available following the initial ramp-up phase.

The financial contribution from the new facility will depend on multiple factors, including plant utilisation levels, feedstock procurement efficiency, customer order volumes and prevailing market conditions.
