Motherson and Hellmann Sign Joint Venture Agreement for Global Automotive Logistics

Samvardhana Motherson International, a global Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Assembly and Logistics specialist, has signed a Joint Venture Agreement with Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, one of the largest family-owned international logistics providers. The joint venture company is to be incorporated in Dubai and will provide integrated supply chain solutions tailored to the global automotive industry.

The partnership brings together Hellmann's global logistics network and technology capabilities with Motherson's deep automotive supply chain expertise. Through this combination, the joint venture will provide access to more than 30,000 global suppliers and trusted OEM relationships. The venture will operate through Motherson's Logistics Solutions Division and will offer integrated third-party logistics and fourth-party logistics services globally, with the exception of Japan. Both companies have committed to carbon net-zero targets and will work together to support industry-wide sustainability initiatives.

The joint venture is built around delivering greater stability, predictability and efficiency across global logistics operations. By combining the strengths of both organisations, the partnership aims to create resilient and agile logistics networks for the automotive industry and customers with critical logistics requirements.
