Infosys Expands Partnership With GlobalFoundries

Infosys announced an expanded multi-year collaboration with GlobalFoundries (GF), one of the world's leading semiconductor manufacturers, to deliver AI-led managed services across its enterprise IT landscape.

Under the engagement, Infosys will manage GF's end-to-end application, infrastructure, data and service desk operations, helping the company modernise and optimise its IT environment through artificial intelligence, automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

The renewed mandate aims to transition GlobalFoundries' IT environment from externally supported operations to a managed services model powered by AI-driven automation and intelligent operations.

Infosys will leverage its semiconductor industry expertise and AI capabilities to help GF improve operational efficiency, enhance resilience, optimise costs and deliver a better user experience across its global enterprise systems. The collaboration is also expected to accelerate the adoption of predictive and autonomous IT operations, enabling the company to move beyond traditional reactive IT management practices.
