HCLTech announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Odisha to establish a Global Technology Center in Bhubaneswar.
The proposed facility will focus on developing and delivering AI-led digital solutions for global enterprises and will complement HCLTech's proposed AI Data Center in the upcoming Odisha Sovereign AI Park.
5,000 Employment Opportunities
According to the company, the new Global Technology Center will have the capacity to house 5,000 professionals and is expected to commence operations by 2028.
HCLTech stated that the investment is expected to generate both direct and indirect employment opportunities while strengthening Odisha's technology ecosystem. The company also plans to collaborate with local educational institutions and the state government to develop next-generation digital skills and create a strong talent pipeline.
