Multibagger Update: These SME stocks gained up to 168 per cent in August; do you hold any?

The month of August was nothing short of a tumultuous roller coaster ride for Indian equity markets. Despite the capricious conditions, headline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex managed to end the month in the green territory with gains of 1.25 per cent and 1.08 per cent, respectively. 

In August 2022, BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices picked up steam and regained their lost mojo by soaring 4.15 per cent and 4.50 per cent, respectively. 

Nupur Recyclers, Inflame Appliances, Kotyark Industries, Gensol Engineering, Jayant Infratech and Krishna Defence and Allied Industries were among the star outperformers that frequently locked at 5 and 10 per cent upper circuit on several trading sessions during the month.
