Paisalo Digital Limited has successfully redeemed 6 unlisted, unsecured, and unrated 12 per cent Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) belonging to the PDL 2020-1 series. The redemption was completed on January 31, 2026, through a full and final payment at par for the NCDs, which carried a face value of Rs 1,00,00,000 each. This timely settlement underlines the company's commitment to meeting its financial obligations and effectively managing its debt instruments.
The company earlier has exercised its call option for the partial redemption of 10 unsecured, unlisted, redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs) under Series PDL-09-2023, totalling Rs 1 crore. This strategic move follows a successful Rs 188.5 crore capital raise in Q3 through listed issuances at a competitive 8.5% annual interest rate, which has helped lower the company's cost of funds and fortify its medium-term capital base. The fresh proceeds are earmarked to scale Paisalo’s "High Tech–High Touch" distribution model across its 4,380 touchpoints in 22 states and UTs. By targeting micro-entrepreneurs and underserved segments, the company aims to enhance its lending capacity and solidify its position as a primary financial enabler within India's formalising MSME ecosystem.
