Wins Rs 48 Crore Rooftop Solar Order

GK Energy Limited informed the stock exchanges that it has secured a 10 MW rooftop solar project valued at Rs 48.02 crore (inclusive of GST) from a domestic distribution company. The contract has been classified as a one-time order and involves the installation of rooftop solar systems across 1,150 locations.

The company said the project will be executed within 90 days, indicating a relatively short execution cycle and faster revenue recognition. The order further strengthens GK Energy's presence in the distributed rooftop solar segment and expands its execution portfolio across multiple locations.

Strengthens Order Book

With this latest order, GK Energy's order book stands at approximately Rs 710 crore, providing strong revenue visibility over the coming quarters. The project demonstrates the company's capability to execute large-scale, geographically dispersed rooftop solar installations within a defined timeline.

The company also clarified that neither its promoter nor promoter group entities have any interest in the awarding entity and that the contract does not constitute a related-party transaction.

GK Energy continues to maintain strong profitability and capital efficiency. The stock currently trades at a P/E ratio of 14.2, considerably lower than many listed renewable energy peers.
